Holy Saturday: Tomb

This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid Him in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before.
Luke 23:52-53

Jesus descended into hell to take dominion over death, principalities and to redeem old saints.
We now have nothing to fear as Christ has conquered even death itself.
Dwelling in the presence of Jesus is how we stay ready for his return.

Take some time now to prayerfully seek the lord in what he has stirred up in your heart

• Step of Obedience

Write down any genuine fears you have surrounding death.
Ask the Lord to give insight as to why and pray for the Lord to lead you not to be afraid anymore.
Today, spend extra time just dwelling in Jesus presence with no agenda.
